The Chicago City Centre Hotel and Spa located at 300 E. Ohio, boasts 500 wonderfully decorated guest rooms with lake and city views. The hotel is nestled between Navy Pier and Chicago's Magnificent Mile which make shopping and dining within steps from your room.

The hotel has several amenities located right in the building such as an indoor & outdoor pool, world class fitness center, tennis courts, 24 hour room service, coffee shop, full service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, business center and an award winning concierge staff. The Chicago City Centre Hotel and Spa is a full service 4 star hotel with 5 star amenities.

The Chicago City Centre Hotel and Spa has made hosting Weddings our business. We understand the importance of your special day and in turn only host one wedding at a time in the LaSalle Ballroom. The entire ballroom and cocktail area will be dedicated to hosting your event.

The entrance to the LaSalle Ballroom is via a grand winding staircase and leads directly to the foyer. The foyer will be used during the first hour of your event for your cocktail reception. The space will have a variety of cocktail tables, chairs, a place card table, gift table and finally the bars. Upon completion of the cocktail hour, your guests will enter into the LaSalle Ballroom which will have your Tables, Dance Floor, Head Table, Bars and DJ.

The decor of the ballroom is very neutral with black, gold, taupe, and tan color pallets. The ceiling height is 15 feet and has 4 gorgeous chandeliers with matching wall sconces. The ballroom can accommodate up to 550 people with a dance floor and tables of 10. We understand that the average wedding size is 200 people and offer you the option of having the entire space with tables of 6 and 8 or splitting the room and doing your tables with 10 people at each, whichever you prefer the space is yours for the night!

The Chicago City Centre Hotel and Spa has recently made a large investment in equipment, linens and centerpieces to provide an elegant and romantic event. We understand all budgets are different and no matter what your budget, we have made the following items included in all our packages, Ivory floor length linen with matching napkins, 4 votive candles on each table, upscale china and silver, as well as a 3 foot tall candelabra for each table, including the candles. The candelabra is valued at $300.00 each if you rented them on your own.

Having amazing items included in our packages is just the beginning of what the Chicago City Centre Hotel and Spa has to offer. We pride ourselves on service and have set standards for servicing weddings that are unique, creative and imaginative. To begin, all service staff is in full tux attire and has an option of wearing no jacket with a bistro tie instead. This is up to you, you can create the image for the event starting with the wait staff! Upon entrance to the room you will find the staff attentively awaiting your guests arrival at which point they will assist your guests in finding their table. Once all guests are seated, the servers will parade in with the champagne and or wine for your toasts.

All the above and more can be arranged with the assistance of your wedding planner. Upon your first contact with the hotel, you will work with your very own personal planner who will be there from beginning to end. Your planner will be present for your tasting & event. Your planner can help find your DJ, Band, Photographer, Videographer, and florist to name a few. You can relax knowing that you will have the assistance you need and the help you deserve in planning your special day.
